What We Delivered

Project Brief

The Indus Valley engaged WEBDIGITA at an early stage, with limited capital and no external funding, to build and evolve their ecommerce channel. The partnership grew from initial delivery to a long-term retainer, with WEBDIGITA acting as an embedded digital and technology partner.

Across multiple phases, the platform evolved from early WooCommerce builds into a Shopify Plus implementation designed for enterprise scale, with ongoing design, build, optimisation, and technical escalation support.

The Challenge

Early on, the priority was to build trust online for a founder-led brand and deliver a reliable buying experience without over-engineering. As demand increased, scale and performance limits, plus operational complexity, required a platform and delivery model that could evolve without disrupting live revenue.

The Process

We delivered the work through defined phases, aligned to business growth and operational readiness. Each phase started with a clear baseline and ended with stabilisation under live traffic.

Decisions were made jointly with the founders, with WEBDIGITA bringing delivery leadership, trade-offs, and release discipline to protect performance and conversion.

Mobile-first validation and controlled releases were treated as non-negotiable, so changes improved the experience without introducing risk during trading periods.

The Build

The current platform is built on Shopify Plus, with a heavily customised theme and templates designed to support trading, catalogue growth, and ongoing iteration.

We implemented bespoke PDP and checkout logic where needed, extending platform-native features pragmatically to keep the stack maintainable while meeting real trading requirements.

WEBDIGITA continues to build, maintain, and optimise the ecosystem, acting as the technical escalation point and ensuring analytics foundations remain reliable as the business evolves.
